More than 40 tourism operators are representing our State at the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) in Melbourne, says Tourism Minister Jane Lomax-Smith, who will be attending the event.
This is a chance for South Australia to show off its best accommodation, tours and holiday regions to more than 700 travel experts from 40 countries, Dr Lomax-Smith says.
These travel experts are the people who decide which tourism products and destinations will be placed in brochures and wholesale programs sold by travel agents right around the world.
This makes ATE a crucial part of South Australias international tourism marketing push, helping to generate billions of dollars in export earnings.
