Dell Studio Desktop Computer (Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200, 750GB HDD, 6GB)

Product summary

CNET Editors' ChoiceOct 08

The good: Best performance in its class; dedicated graphics card; large hard drive.

The bad: No need to spend $800 for a basic day-to-day desktop.

The bottom line: This off-the-shelf version of the Dell Studio Desktop reminds us of a classic Dell computer. This system is faster and better equipped than its competition, and at a better price. You can certainly get away with a cheaper everyday PC, but this one is a bargain among lower midrange desktops.

Specifications: Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 (2.33 GHz) ; RAM installed: 6 GB DDR2 SDRAM ; Hard drive: 750 GB Standard

  1. Nice configuration to go for and that too if it comes at a decent price but not sure what we can expect from the laptops having same configuration as it is evident that laptop parts don't come cheap. The best thing that I like about desktops maintenance is that they are economical unlike laptop repair.
